Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account: name, email address, phone number, and restaurant details (name, address, operating hours). We also collect menu data, pricing, images, and order information that you upload or process through the platform. Usage data such as page views, order history, and analytics are collected automatically.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and improve our services: process orders, generate analytics reports, send service updates and promotional communications (with your consent), provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations. We use data in aggregated, anonymized form for platform improvement and benchmarking.

Data Sharing

We share your data with trusted third-party service providers necessary for platform operation: Paymob processes payments; Meta (WhatsApp) facilitates WhatsApp ordering and notifications; Vercel hosts our infrastructure; Neon provides database services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data sharing is limited to what is necessary for service delivery.

Payment Data

Payment processing is handled entirely by Paymob. We do not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details on our servers. Paymob adheres to PCI DSS Level 1 security standards. You should review Paymob's privacy policy for information on their data handling practices.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination or cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for export, after which it is permanently deleted. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely. Order records may be retained longer to comply with tax and legal obligations.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings. You may request a copy of your data in a portable format. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and platform functionality. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We recommend using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication where available.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
