What kind of food business is MokEats for?

It can support cafés, bakeries, dessert shops, food trucks, dark kitchens, quick-service restaurants, full-service venues and multi-branch groups. The plan structure follows operational complexity rather than cuisine.

Does the guest need to download an app?

No. The public menu, QR table experience, cart, checkout, tracking and receipts run in the browser. Guests can order without an account, while an optional customer account adds saved addresses and order history.

How does setup work?

Register, name the restaurant, choose the menu URL, currency, language, colors and plan. MokEats creates your restaurant workspace and main branch; you then add categories and items, configure the branch, generate QR codes and invite staff.

Which order types can I run?

The platform models dine-in, takeaway and delivery, with table context for QR orders. Orders can also be tagged by source such as QR menu, POS, phone and connected channels. Exact channel access depends on the plan and provider setup.

How are online and offline payments handled?

Paymob provides hosted online checkout. Restaurants can also configure cash, card, InstaPay, mobile-wallet, bank-transfer and bank-check methods, including bilingual instructions and payment-proof review where needed.

Does MokEats take a commission on orders?

MokEats is sold as a subscription and does not add an order commission. Third-party providers such as payment gateways may charge their own transaction or service fees under their separate terms.

What keeps working if the internet drops?

The Web POS is designed with an offline queue, local persistence, synchronization and conflict handling. Cloud dashboards, payment gateways and messaging integrations still require connectivity; the entire platform should not be treated as offline.

Can every branch have its own setup?

Yes. Branches can have their own details, hours, menu availability, pricing context, QR codes, delivery settings and operational views. Higher plans increase branch and menu-item limits, while HQ gives central visibility.

Which integrations are available?

The codebase includes Paymob payments, Meta WhatsApp notifications and conversation storage, Telegram alerts and report delivery, Resend email, Google sign-in, ETA invoice integration, and Talabat/elmenus adapters. Provider credentials and production validation are required where applicable.

Which advanced modules are still in rollout?

The official catalog currently marks purchasing, HR and payroll, the internal AI assistant, AR menu and automated loyalty as coming soon. Existing routes may preview parts of these areas, but they should not be treated as fully released modules yet.

Who owns my restaurant and customer data?

You retain ownership of the menu content, images, pricing, branding and operational data you upload. The service terms grant MokEats only the limited rights needed to display the public menu and process orders.

Can I add modules without rebuilding everything?

That is the point of the modular plan. Start with direct ordering, then add payments, POS, KDS, inventory, reporting or HQ as the operation requires. Access and limits are controlled by the active plan.

Your next service can run differently

Put every moving part on the same rhythm.
